I have a client which is up in arms about me charging a fuel cost - is this such a rare thing? I did include it in my Terms and Conditions before starting the project, and although we agreed on a 'project fee' and not an 'hourly rate', is it so unfair to demand a fuel cost on top of the negotiated project fee?
The project has already cost me 58 hours of hard work ( a lot more time than I was budgeting for), so the fact that she expects me to go and fetch disks with artwork etc. for no added cost…
